She has finally given in! Not sure why?  Maybe she realizes these two boys aren't going anywhere and if she sits in their lap for a few minutes they'll  leave her alone! Hampton still wants nothing to do with them and any attempt to catch her results in hissing and hiding under the bed.  He is so proud of himself when he finally catches her and gets her on his lap so they  can be nice a cozy! Thank you Shafer for letting them love you!

Meet our fish.  Not the best picture but kind of hard to get a good one with them swimming.  We've had these two since June and they've mad it much longer than I thought they would.  They came home with us from Maple Valley days and the boys have named them Darth Vader and Fiderman (Spiderman)  Eastons pronunciation. Chris has decided to make it his goal in life to keep them alive as long as possible.  Each week he cleans their bowl and adds special drops to balance the water.  I go downstairs each morning and am greeted with two hungry fish and I really think they have a little personality.  Lisa tells a much better story on her blog! Anyway two little members of our family that our cats are thrilled about!

Halloween 2013. Started with a costume parade at school and a little concert for all the parents. So cute watching all of them sing songs. This is Cohen in between Honor and Tanner, two of his classmates. The night before we were at a birthday party and Cohen got his face painted with some sparkly stuff that wouldn't come off.  Actually he didnt' let me wash his face for days because he didn't want them to come off.  Love that Darth Vader has a purple flower on his cheek!
In between songs and Cohen is rubbing his ears.  He has done this since he was a baby and it always meant he was tired.  I don't even think he realizes hes doing it!
Later that day we had a little party and went trick or treating.  This year the kids were so excited to get as much candy as they could.

Easton was the slowest one of the group! Every house he had to stop and have a conversation with the homeowner.  Usually he wanted to know what they were watching on tv.  He would often give a piece of candy back to them when they gave him one.  If they had a dog I knew we would be there for a long time!  Most of the dogs had costumes on which was super cute.  He had to hug and kiss them, show them his candy and talk to them for a few minutes.  It was really sweet. Thankfully everyone was very patient with him and made him feel like they had all the time in the world!
Little Hudson
Jackson, Hayden and Cohen who ran from house to house.  They literally thought the houses would run out of candy before they got to all of them.

It was another fun Halloween. We started talking about costumes in September and of course everyday they wanted to be something different. Most of their ideas included superheros. Finally Cohen settled on Darth Vader and our neighbors had a Chewy costume so we convinced Easton to wear it. The funny thing is though they've never seen Star Wars.  They play angry birds on the ipad and there is a star wars edition.  Cohens favorite color is black so obviously since Darth Vader wears all black it made his decision that much easier.  They've already started planning for next year and once again its a different costume each week!
