We spent a long weekend in Portland and had a ton of fun!  My boys are huge fans of the children's museums and Portland has a wonderful one that we spent the day at.
Spent another afternoon at their zoo and as you can see Easton is my little animal lover.  He had to hug each one of the goats!  Thankfully they were good sports about it, the zookeeper however was not impressed with Eastons love for them and told him if he didn't stop he would be asked to leave!
After lunch we found a water fountain downtown and they loved running through it with all the other kids.

He lost his first tooth! June 24 marks the day for the first tooth to fall out! We had spent the day before at mud mountain damn with the family and on the way home Cohen said his tooth was loose.  I figured he must have hit it on something while playing and didn't think much of it. Tuesday night on my way home from work Chris called and told me the exciting news. He was brushing his teeth and it just fell right out! Cohen was super excited!  I made a stop at the store to pick up a toy and a new tooth brush from the tooth fairy.  As we were getting ready for bed talking about how the tooth fairy would come while the boys were sleeping Easton gets scared and starts crying because hes afraid of the tooth fairy and doesn't want her in his room.  Tried to convince him she was a friendly little fairy and he wouldn't even know she was there.  After about ten minutes Cohen sweetly said "It's okay mom, we don't have to do this tonight.  Lets try tomorrow night and maybe Easton won't be as scared!"  I was so proud of him for thinking about his brothers feelings and trying to comfort him. The next night I waited until they were both asleep and slipped the tooth under his pillow!

Another year at Lake Chelan.  This place has really become a favorite spot for us!  This year the boys were in the pool pretty much all day and then jumped in the indoor pool after dinner.  There are always a lot of families with young kids so they had plenty of little friends to play with and it was so fun to watch.
We had rain one afternoon so we decided to try bowling.  This was the first time bowling for the boys and they loved it.  I think they loved the lights and the loud music more than the actual bowling!  Easton spent most of his time dancing around the lanes.  The shoes were a big hit too and Cohen keeps asking me to buy him some just the pair he wore.
My little guys...... how did I get so lucky!!!!

Riding the train with Papa!  Loving these little carnivals with the kids!

Easton still doesn't want his face painted.  This was the first year Cohen was ready and now that's all he wants to do!

Last year of preschool at Immanuel Lutheran.  This was a bitter sweet day for me.  The last two years have been so much fun.  Cohen has been surrounded by wonderful teachers and wonderful little friends.  I am so thankful I get two more years there with Easton.  Thank you Mrs. Medford and Mrs. Gregory for loving my boy this year!
