Back in February Cohen had his VIP day at school. This is a very special day for each student. They start out by decorating a crown that they wear through class time.  Next they get to lead their friends in the pledge of allegiance, go over the weather and sing a few other songs.  They also get to make a poster board of pictures and fun things they like to do.  I don't think he could have been more proud to stand up front with Mrs. Papen and talk about his family and pictures with me.  Let me just say he is completely in love with his teacher Mrs. Papen!  I am so thankful his first year of preschool has been so positive and exciting for him.  He wakes up every day asking if he gets to go to school and is always a little sad on the days he stays home.  I will also say I have a new appreciation for preschool teachers! Chris and I had so much fun spending the afternoon in his class. There is nothing more special then seeing your child "shine" and feel so good about themselves!
