We spent the day at Owens Beach a few weeks ago.  It was a beautiful Monday and thought we should take advantage of it.  We packed a lunch and some sand toys and had a great time.  The boys put their toes in the water but that was as far as they went, it was pretty cold!

One of the highlights was this little seal that swam right up to the beach and spent about 45 minutes just laying in the sun.  She was literally a few feet from us and didn't seem to mind all the attention at all.  Easton named her Sandy and cried when we had to leave her.  We also saw dolphins out in the water and a fire rescue boat that was doing some drills right in front of us.  The boys loved it!
